Why it matters: The partnership demonstrates how open banking and data aggregation are expanding beyond individual users to support household financial management. By combining secure account connectivity with permission-based data sharing, Moneyhub and Know Your Dosh are addressing a growing demand for family-focused financial tools while improving financial visibility and engagement.

Moneyhub, an Applied AI and data intelligence platform for financial institutions, has partnered with Know Your Dosh, a UK-based family financial management app, to provide automated account aggregation and enhanced financial visibility for households.

The partnership enables Know Your Dosh users to automatically sync financial accounts across a household, including current accounts, savings, investments and pensions. By connecting accounts through secure integrations, families can access a consolidated view of their finances without manual updates or the need to share login credentials.

The integration unlocks a range of financial insights, including household budgeting tools that provide a more complete picture of a family’s financial position. Users can view assets, liabilities and spending patterns in one place while maintaining control over what information is shared among family members.

Know Your Dosh, which is designed for households managing finances across multiple accounts, generations and life stages, has surpassed £200 million in assets tracked through its dashboard since going live with Moneyhub. Previously, many of these assets required manual input, creating a barrier to regular financial engagement.

Dan Scholey, CPO at Moneyhub, said, “Most FinTech is built for the individual, but with modern, secure data sharing we can unlock those relationships that matter. The team at Know Your Dosh have built something that meets families where they actually are. Moneyhub’s job is to make sure the data behind it is as complete and as accurate as possible.”

Through Moneyhub’s FCA-regulated infrastructure, account information is updated automatically via secure connections, removing the need for manual reconciliation. The platform also incorporates granular permission settings, allowing households to share a consolidated financial picture without providing full visibility into every individual account.

Varun Aggarwal, founder and CEO at Know Your Dosh, said, “Partnering with Moneyhub means our users no longer have to do the hard work of keeping their finances up to date. It happens automatically, securely, and in the background. And crucially, every family member sees exactly what they need to see, and nothing they don’t. The UK has the infrastructure to make this work at scale, and we’re excited to build here first.”

The partnership comes as household financial visibility gains importance in the UK. With dormant and forgotten assets among UK families estimated at £89 billion, the companies believe improved data aggregation can help households gain a clearer understanding of their financial position and ensure important assets remain visible and actively managed.
