Expense management platform Rydoo has launched the Rydoo Model Context Protocol (MCP), a governed connector that integrates its core expensing workflows directly into enterprise AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.

The Model Context Protocol functions as an open standard designed to link AI systems securely with enterprise software. By embedding Rydoo into conversational AI tools, the new connector allows business users to manage outstanding balances and clear approvals using plain language.

For finance departments, the system eliminates the need to manually sift through spreadsheets by enabling natural-language queries for real-time spend summaries categorised by project or business trip.

The ongoing evolution in corporate software adoption prioritises workflows that meet employees within their existing digital environments rather than forcing adoption onto standalone applications.

By cutting down on platform switching, the tool aims to streamline approval bottlenecks while offering finance teams immediate visibility into corporate spending.

To address enterprise security requirements, the connector includes integrated governance and compliance frameworks. IT and finance departments retain end-to-end oversight through a controlled approval architecture governing user authentication, system consent parameters, and granular tool-access permissions.

The rollout is immediately available to global mid-market and enterprise clients. The release follows Rydoo’s acquisition of Semine in July 2025, which previously expanded the company’s footprint into automated accounts payable.

“This type of integration also chimes with corporate AI strategies more broadly. As companies seek to standardise AI usage across their teams, the ability to reduce the number of platforms and logins contributes to more cohesive operations that drive productivity and results,” said Sebastien Marchon, CEO of Rydoo.
