BlackSoil Global, the international private credit platform and a group company of BlackSoil, has entered into a strategic business partnership with Nippon Wealth Management LLC (NWM), a Japan-based investment and asset management firm, to create investment opportunities connecting Japanese investors with growth companies across Southeast Asia.
As part of the partnership, NWM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on August 21, 2026, with Blue Ashva Capital Pte. Ltd. (BAC), the Singapore-based asset management company and a BlackSoil Group company operating as part of BlackSoil Global.

This partnership with BlackSoil is not a one-off arrangement, it reflects both companies’ long-term commitment to Japan’s asset management market.”
The partnership will combine BlackSoil Global’s capabilities in sourcing, evaluating and structuring private credit opportunities across Southeast Asia with NWM’s network of Japanese investors and expertise in investment product development. The two firms will work together to explore private credit investment opportunities and develop tailored investment solutions for Japanese investors seeking exposure to Southeast Asia.
Strengthening access to Southeast Asia’s private credit opportunities
Southeast Asia continues to see strong economic growth and rising funding requirements among growth companies. At the same time, access to adequate growth capital through traditional bank financing remains a challenge for many businesses, creating increasing demand for private credit as an alternative source of financing.
Against this backdrop, the partnership seeks to leverage BlackSoil Global’s regional investment capabilities and NWM’s expertise in serving Japan’s ultra-high-net-worth investor segment to develop differentiated investment solutions.
The two firms will collaborate across the investment lifecycle, including identification of investment opportunities, credit assessment, investment structuring and post-investment monitoring. They will also explore new investment strategies, fund structures and co-investment opportunities that can connect Japanese capital with the financing needs of growth companies in Southeast Asia.
The partnership will serve as a platform for BlackSoil Global and NWM to explore new private credit products and co-investment opportunities connecting Japanese investors with growth companies across Southeast Asia. The two firms intend to build a long-term relationship focused on expanding access to private credit opportunities in the region and developing investment solutions aligned with the evolving needs of Japanese investors.
