YouLend has partnered with German e-commerce software provider comrce to expand access to embedded working capital for around 24,000 small and medium-sized online retailers.

The strategic partnership has combined comrce’s e-commerce platform with YouLend’s embedded-finance technology, allowing merchants to access information about financing options within their existing business environment.

Since May 2026, comrce has used its established communication channels to provide merchants with targeted information about YouLend’s financing solutions. Interested businesses have then been able to contact YouLend directly and begin its fully digital financing process.

Leonard Strigel, General Manager Europe at YouLend, said: “We are bringing them flexible financing options to give them greater access to growth capital,” adding that the partnership has demonstrated the importance of embedded finance to small businesses.

YouLend has provided AI-powered decision-making models, revenue-based repayment and digital applications as part of its financing offering. Under the revenue-based model, merchants have repaid an agreed proportion of their sales rather than following a fixed repayment schedule. The companies have said this approach has provided greater flexibility for seasonal and fast-growing online retailers.

Amirah Hadry, Head of Partner Management at comrce, has said the partnership has expanded the company’s e-commerce offering with a financing service designed around the needs of online retailers.

comrce has supported merchants with e-commerce activities including multichannel order processing, inventory management, customer communication and accounting. YouLend has expanded its German e-commerce network through the partnership, adding another distribution route to SMEs.

The collaboration has reflected the continued integration of financial services into business software, as e-commerce platforms have increasingly incorporated financing options alongside operational tools to support merchants’ working-capital requirements.
