Zilch has launched two new membership tiers alongside Pay Monthly and Zilch Advance, expanding its consumer credit and payments offering in the UK.

The FinTech has introduced Zilch Extra and Zilch Plus as paid membership options, offering customers additional rewards, spending insights and priority support. Zilch Plus has been priced at $5.38 a month, while Zilch Extra has been priced at $4.03.

The expansion has also included Pay Monthly, which has enabled eligible customers to spread larger purchases across three, six or 12 months, with fees disclosed upfront. The product has operated under customers’ existing regulated Zilch credit agreements.

Zilch Advance has used open banking, income verification and AI-enabled technology to provide eligible customers with access to up to $134.84 of their salary up to seven days before payday. The advance has been automatically repaid when customers’ income has arrived.

The company has said the product expansion has been informed by its Credit Confidence Study of more than 10,000 UK adults. The research has found that 45% of consumers have wanted rewards and savings from credit products, while 47% have wanted credit products to help them manage spending.

Philip Belamant, CEO and Co-Founder of Zilch, has said: “We started Zilch to eliminate the high cost of consumer credit.”

The new products have been rolled out progressively across Zilch’s customer base. The company has positioned the expansion as part of its broader strategy to combine payments, regulated credit and financial management tools through its platform.

The launch has highlighted the continued expansion of FinTech offerings beyond traditional buy now, pay later services, with providers increasingly combining credit, rewards and open banking capabilities.
