GetVantage raises $6.6m in Series A1 funding
By Milan Rojan
Mumbai-based FinTech GetVantage has raised $6.6 million in a Series A1 funding round, taking its total funding to more than $47 million. The fresh capital will support the company’s efforts to expand access to technology-driven, equity-free financing for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across India.
Founded in 2019 by Amit S and Bhavik Vasa, GetVantage has provided non-dilutive funding to businesses by assessing cash flow and alternative data instead of relying on traditional collateral. The platform has offered financing ranging from $2,000 to $2.1 million, enabling founders to secure growth capital without giving up equity.
The company said it has supported more than 2,000 businesses to date, including consumer brands such as Rage Coffee, Arata, The Healthy Company and Elevar. It added that the platform has focused on improving access to capital for businesses that may face challenges obtaining funding through conventional lending channels.
GetVantage has operated in a market where India’s MSME sector continues to face a significant credit shortfall. According to the company, the financing gap for the sector is estimated at around $350 billion., creating demand for alternative financing models that can offer faster and more flexible access to working capital.
The latest funding is expected to strengthen GetVantage’s technology platform and support the expansion of its credit enablement capabilities. The company said it has continued to build a data-driven financing ecosystem that combines digital underwriting with cash flow-based assessments to streamline funding decisions.
With the new capital, GetVantage plans to broaden its reach among Indian MSMEs while enhancing its technology infrastructure. The company said it has remained focused on enabling sustainable business growth through equity-free financing and expanding access to digital credit solutions for entrepreneurs across sectors.
