Temenos has appointed Cormac Flanagan as Chief Product Officer and Tony Coleman as Chief Technology Officer as part of a leadership reshuffle aimed at accelerating its product and technology roadmap and expanding its AI-powered banking capabilities.

Takis Spiliopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of Temenos, said: “We have a clear strategy with a strong focus on innovation and R&D, and we are committed to delivering long-term value for our clients and partners. Cormac, Tony and Sriraman bring deep domain expertise across core banking, wealth, digital and payments, combined with a strong understanding of the needs of our clients.”

The appointments will take effect on 3 August 2026. The banking technology provider has also confirmed that Sriraman Ganesan will continue as Global Head of Product Engineering, while Barb Morgan will step down from her role as Chief Product and Technology Officer.

Flanagan has brought more than 30 years of experience in core banking across product, services and sales, having previously held senior product leadership roles at Temenos and Finastra. Coleman has rejoined the company after previously serving as Chief Technology Officer, where he led the modernisation of Temenos’ core banking architecture and the development of its cloud-native platform.

In his new role, Coleman has been tasked with aligning the company’s artificial intelligence strategy with its broader product and technology roadmap. Ganesan will continue to lead Temenos’ global engineering teams and oversee product delivery and innovation.

Temenos has said the leadership changes support the next phase of its FY-28 strategic plan and are intended to strengthen its position across core banking, digital banking, payments and wealth management. The company has also confirmed that Daniel Schmucki will join as Chief Financial Officer on 3 August 2026, completing its refreshed executive leadership team.
