Cash App Investing has integrated Apex Clearing Corporation, a subsidiary of Apex Fintech Solutions, into its brokerage infrastructure. The arrangement has brought clearing, custody and trading services onto Apex’s AscendOS platform.

The partnership has followed an evaluation process conducted by Cash App Investing. Existing features, including dividend reinvestment and Round Ups, have remained available to customers.

Cash App Investing has been offered through Block’s Cash App platform, which has reported more than 59 million monthly transacting active users. The arrangement has connected Cash App Investing to Apex’s clearing and custody infrastructure.

Bill Capuzzi, Chief Executive Officer of Apex, said, “Cash App has built something remarkable for everyday investors, and we’re proud to power what comes next. Real-time technology, reliability that earns trust, and a partner built to support their momentum.”

Customers have continued to access investing services through the Cash App interface while Apex has supported the underlying clearing and custody functions. According to the companies, the transition has covered existing account capabilities and operational processes.

According to Apex, the platform has provided clearing, custody and trading capabilities through real-time processing and APIs. According to Apex, the platform can support multiple account types and asset classes.

Logan Kolar, Chief Executive Officer of Cash App Investing, said: “Apex’s real-time infrastructure and API-first approach give us the flexibility to innovate quickly while ensuring our customers have the reliability and protection they expect.”

The agreement has expanded the relationship between the two companies and established Apex as the clearing provider for Cash App Investing. Both firms said the partnership is intended to support the ongoing operation of Cash App Investing’s services while maintaining access to its existing investing features.
