TMF Group has expanded its partnership with Fenergo, a FinTech provider, to deliver a fully digital investor onboarding experience for buy-side clients.
The partnership has enabled asset managers to offer a streamlined, end-to-end onboarding journey through a unified digital platform with real-time tracking and improved visibility for investors.
An investor-facing portal has been launched, allowing document submission, onboarding status tracking and query management, alongside a live dashboard for asset managers. The system has been integrated with Fenergo’s client lifecycle management platform, reducing duplicate data entry and improving workflow efficiency.
Automated biometric identity verification has been introduced at first login, strengthening identity checks and enhancing security controls.
Digital subscription processing has been enabled, allowing investors to complete and electronically sign subscription documents within a single session. Structured documents have been validated and stored within the platform, while automated anti-money laundering checks and identity verification processes have been triggered.
Ellen Stiene, Head for North America and Caribbean at TMF Group, said, “Investors increasingly expect digital transparency and seamless onboarding. This collaboration has enabled a streamlined end-to-end journey with real-time visibility and improved oversight for asset managers.”
The solution has been built on an existing deployment of Fenergo’s client lifecycle management suite across TMF Group’s global operations, covering around 2,000 users across 125 offices in 87 jurisdictions.
Marc Murphy, Chief Executive Officer at Fenergo, said, “The partnership extension with TMF Group has enhanced efficiency and transparency in investor onboarding. The solution has supported a compliant and client-focused experience across global markets.”
The initiative has responded to rising demand from asset managers and alternative investment firms for reduced onboarding friction and improved investor experience through digital transformation.
