EXANTE unveils portfolio infrastructure for wealth managers
By Aarav Garg

EXANTE has launched a new portfolio management infrastructure platform called Allocator, aimed at helping investment firms automate portfolio deployment and rebalancing across multiple client accounts.
The launch reflects broader changes in wealth and asset management, where firms are increasingly expected to deliver more personalised portfolios while maintaining operational efficiency. Managing multiple client mandates with different allocation rules, restrictions and investment preferences has created growing pressure on portfolio operations teams, particularly where rebalancing and execution workflows still rely on partially manual processes.
“The industry has spent years focusing on investment performance, but operational scalability is becoming just as important,” said Richard Forss, Chief Technology Officer at EXANTE. “Demand for separately managed accounts increased over the past year for more than 60% of both managers and allocators, with most expecting further growth over the next 12 to 18 months. Allocator brings the operational infrastructure and execution discipline to any asset manager, regardless of size.”
EXANTE said Allocator enables managers to create a master portfolio structure and apply allocation changes, strategy updates and rebalancing actions across multiple accounts simultaneously through a unified workflow. The platform is designed to reduce operational friction, improve consistency and lower the risk of allocation errors during portfolio management.
The infrastructure supports simultaneous deployment of investment strategies across up to 20 client accounts, alongside portfolio construction tools using both percentage-based allocations and fixed quantities. Managers can also rebalance linked accounts together and create draft portfolios for testing and version control before execution.
The product expands EXANTE’s broader multi-asset trading and execution infrastructure, which supports equities, ETFs, bonds, derivatives and cryptocurrencies across more than 50 markets.
For FinTech and wealth technology providers, the launch highlights increasing investment in portfolio automation, multi-account trading infrastructure and scalable advisory technology. As asset managers continue shifting toward model portfolios, personalised investing and SMA-based offerings, operational automation is becoming a key competitive factor across digital wealth management and institutional investment platforms.
