9fin brings integrated credit data platform to APAC
By Aarav Garg

9fin has launched its services in the Asia Pacific region, expanding access to data, news and analytics across global debt markets.
The platform has provided credit professionals with tools covering both public and private bonds and loans, combining proprietary data with AI-driven workflow capabilities. The expansion has been supported by a growing regional presence, with teams operating from an initial base in Hong Kong.
Steven Hunter, CEO and co-founder at 9fin, said, “APAC is a complex region and is becoming even more so as private markets expand and geopolitical volatility increases. The region needs a faster, smarter platform covering the full picture across bonds, loans, private credit and distressed. That’s exactly what 9fin provides. With our full platform now live in APAC, we’re giving our users the clarity to make informed decisions, faster.”
The launch has come amid increasing competition between public and private credit markets in APAC. While bond issuance has declined due to geopolitical uncertainty, private credit activity has remained strong as borrowers have sought alternative sources of funding. This shift has increased demand for integrated visibility across the credit landscape.
9fin’s platform has aimed to address market fragmentation by combining local deal intelligence with its global database. The APAC offering includes coverage of more than 1,800 issuers and 16,000 instruments, supported by historical issuance data dating back to 2003 following its acquisition of Bond Radar in 2025.
The company has reported usage by over 300 institutions globally, including KKR, Apollo and BNP Paribas.
The regional rollout has formed part of 9fin’s broader expansion strategy, following launches in the United States, Europe and Latin America, with further growth planned across additional markets.
