Hello Clever, a Sydney-based FinTech firm, has partnered with Checkout.com to provide payment processing, authentication and fraud detection services as part of its plan to expand its operations internationally.
The collaboration is intended to support Hello Clever’s growth across its regional hubs in Singapore, New York and Tokyo. The company operates an AI-driven platform that integrates payment infrastructure with built-in loyalty rewards, aiming to help businesses turn payments from a cost centre into a measurable source of growth.
Under the agreement, Hello Clever will use Checkout.com’s global network and product suite to onboard and manage an expanding base of merchants. The platform currently processes transactions across more than 15 merchant category codes.
Caroline Tran, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, Hello Clever, said, “As we expand globally, we needed a payments partner that could match our ambition and technical sophistication.”
Hello Clever is already live with Checkout.com in Australia. As it enters new markets, it plans to adopt features such as network tokenisation and enhanced authentication to improve payment performance and security.
“Checkout.com’s flexible infrastructure, combined with its global reach and local expertise, allows us to scale quickly while continuing to deliver rewarding experiences for both merchants and consumers,” said Monique Biady, Head of Commercial for Australia, Checkout.com. “By combining payments, AI, and rewards into a single ecosystem, they are turning transactions into meaningful customer engagement.”
The next phase of the partnership will focus on supporting Hello Clever’s planned expansion into the United States, as it continues to scale its real-time payments and embedded loyalty offering.
