Arab National Bank (ANB) has implemented Intellect Design Arena’s eMACH.ai Digital Transaction Banking platform to strengthen its wholesale banking capabilities, as Saudi lenders accelerate technology investments aligned with the Kingdom’s digital transformation agenda.

The deployment focuses on enhancing ANB’s corporate and SME banking services through improved cash management, real-time visibility, and end-to-end digital transaction processing. The initiative forms part of the bank’s broader strategy to modernise operations and support Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification under Saudi Vision 2030.

The eMACH.ai platform provides a unified digital environment for corporate clients, enabling real-time account and payment management, automated workflows, and self-service capabilities. It also includes a dedicated corporate mobile application and supports straight-through payment processing with embedded foreign exchange functionality.

The solution is designed to address the complex requirements of key sectors in the Saudi economy, including oil and gas, government, utilities, construction, telecommunications, FMCG, and logistics. Industry-specific features include consolidated cash visibility across entities, automated high-volume payments, cross-border settlement capabilities, and project-level financial tracking.

ANB said the transformation will allow it to expand its transaction banking suite further, with planned enhancements such as receivables and collections, liquidity management, digital onboarding, and administrative controls.

“This transformation marks a new era of operational agility and efficiency at ANB,” said Aiedh M. Al-Zahrani, Chief Operating Officer at Arab National Bank. “By digitising our core transaction banking services, we are strengthening our ability to serve clients with faster turnaround times, reduced complexity, and smarter workflows.”

Omar Alageel, Chief Digital Officer at ANB, added that the initiative represents “a foundational shift towards a digital-first future,” aimed at enabling more personalised corporate banking services and improving operational efficiency.
