Pave Finance has integrated its wealth management platform with Fidelity, enabling registered investment advisors (RIAs) to connect Fidelity-held client accounts directly to Pave for automated portfolio construction, management and trading.

The integration allows RIAs to deploy Pave’s technology without transferring client assets from Fidelity’s custody platform. Advisors will be able to automate portfolio processes across connected accounts while maintaining existing custodial relationships, a structure designed to reduce operational disruption.

Fidelity serves more than 3,400 advisory firms, providing Pave with access to a substantial segment of the independent advisory market. Through the integration, advisors can use Pave’s proprietary Asset Intelligence Layer and portfolio optimisation engine to build and manage risk-adjusted portfolios at scale.

According to Pave, the automation tools can save advisors up to 18 hours per week by streamlining trading and portfolio management workflows. The company also states that its investment engine has outperformed the S&P 500 by an average of 285 basis points annually over more than a decade.

The partnership comes as the global wealth management sector is projected to expand significantly over the next decade, with independent RIAs expected to capture a growing share of assets. Technology-led automation has increasingly become a competitive lever for advisory firms seeking to deliver personalised investment strategies while managing cost pressures and compliance requirements.

Christopher Ainsworth, Chief Executive Officer of Pave Finance, said, “The integration extends the firm’s automated wealth management capabilities to Fidelity’s RIA client base. This integration extends our advanced automated wealth management solutions to Fidelity’s base of high-value RIA clients. This integration marks an important step forward in expanding our reach and accelerating Pave’s mission of bringing greater automation to wealth management and expanding RIAs’ personalisation capabilities.”

Custodian-platform integrations have become a central distribution channel for FinTech wealth providers, as advisors prioritise interoperability and workflow efficiency. By embedding its portfolio management tools within Fidelity’s ecosystem, Pave is positioning itself to compete more directly in the growing market for RIA-focused automation solutions.
