Emirates Investment Bank has partnered with Avaloq to drive the digital transformation of its private banking, wealth, and investment management operations. Through this collaboration, the bank will implement Avaloq’s integrated platform to modernise its core wealth systems, enhance front-office performance, and elevate digital client experiences across web and mobile channels.

The initiative marks a significant milestone in Emirates Investment Bank’s ongoing commitment to innovation and operational excellence. By leveraging Avaloq’s technology, the bank aims to scale its service capabilities and deliver a deeply personalised, data-driven wealth management experience that aligns with the evolving expectations of high-net-worth clients.

Under the partnership, Avaloq will unify Emirates Investment Bank’s front, middle, and back-office systems into a single, integrated platform. This architecture will deliver high straight-through processing (STP) rates, minimising manual intervention, accelerating onboarding for high-net-worth clients, and significantly improving operational efficiency. Equipped with advanced compliance and risk-management capabilities, the platform will also support the bank in meeting stringent and evolving regulatory standards across the wealth management sector.

Avaloq’s open architecture and powerful integration framework will enable Emirates Investment Bank to connect seamlessly with third-party applications and services via Community APIs. This capability will foster continuous innovation and reduce the time-to-market for new financial products and digital solutions.

For clients, the transformation will translate into a more transparent and personalised banking experience, offering enhanced portfolio visibility, detailed fee disclosures, and intuitive digital dashboards that support informed investment decisions.

Anthony Jaganathan, Chief Operating Officer, Emirates Investment Bank, said, “Joining forces with Avaloq reflects our commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation in wealth and investment management in a growing and dynamic industry in UAE. By harmonising our operations into a unified, future-ready platform, we are building a strong foundation for sustainable growth and enhanced value for investors.”

Akash Anand, Regional Director and Head of the Middle East & Africa at Avaloq, commented, “We are proud to support Emirates Investment Bank as it digitally transforms its wealth and investment management operations. With the Avaloq platform, the bank will streamline its operations with an enhanced core wealth platform, empower its front-office staff through RM Workplace and enhance client experience with our Web and Mobile Banking solution. This partnership will enable greater flexibility to expand services in line with evolving investor needs, marking a key milestone with the UAE’s only central bank-regulated, independent private bank.”
