Crédit Agricole next bank, the Swiss subsidiary of the French banking group, has partnered with additiv to launch Pilla, a mobile-first digital pension application. The solution redefines how customers in Switzerland manage their 3a and vested benefits savings, delivering a fully digitised, end-to-end pension journey that combines regulatory compliance with an intuitive, mobile-first design.

With Pilla, Crédit Agricole next bank, transforms the customer experience by automating onboarding, risk profiling and investment allocation, while providing real-time portfolio tracking. The app is designed for mobile-first users seeking simplicity, convenience and full control over their retirement savings.

At the core of this innovation is additiv’s orchestration capability, which integrates with Liberty Pension, a regulated foundation and asset manager. The collaboration demonstrates the strength of additiv’s open sourcing model, enabling banks to embed both proprietary and third-party regulated solutions into a single, compliant platform without replacing legacy systems or incurring costly integrations.

“Pilla marks a strategic step for Crédit Agricole next bank as we launch a modern, mobile-first pension product for a more digital-oriented, independent target group,” said Pierre Fortis, Development Director. “additiv’s platform enabled us to launch fast, with full regulatory alignment and a fully digital customer journey.”

The app also addresses the needs of cross-border clients, particularly those living in France, Germany or Italy and working in Switzerland. These users can contribute to, manage and monitor their Swiss pension savings entirely via the app, eliminating the need for branch visits and simplifying the management of 3a and vested benefits accounts.

“Pilla isn’t just a product launch, it’s a strategic leap for Crédit Agricole next bank, enabling them to offer a fully digital, mobile-first pension experience that improves access, advice, and efficiency for their customers,” said Michael Stemmle, Founder of additiv. “Through our open sourcing approach, we’ve enabled Crédit Agricole next bank to orchestrate regulated third-party pension solutions seamlessly into a mobile-first journey. It proves that our platform can set the standard for end-to-end digital pensions, fully compliant, scalable, and ready to consume new solutions as they evolve.”

By combining innovation, regulatory trust and customer-centric design, Pilla positions Crédit Agricole next bank at the forefront of digital pensions in Switzerland and highlights the potential of agile, scalable, and fully compliant financial solutions for the modern customer.
