Diebold Nixdorf launches tools to modernise bank branches
By Vriti Gothi

Diebold Nixdorf has launched its Branch Automation Solutions portfolio, a comprehensive suite of managed services designed to modernise branch operations, reduce costs and enhance customer engagement. The new offering will be showcased at Intersect Nashville, the company’s premier client event for the financial industry, taking place from 25 to 27 August 2025.
Branch Automation Solutions has been developed to help financial institutions adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of hybrid banking, where consumers expect seamless interactions across both physical and digital touchpoints. Built on a cloud-native and scalable platform, the portfolio leverages the power of Diebold Nixdorf’s DN Series® and Vynamic® Software to integrate the ATM network, teller cash recyclers and branch-level operations into a single, efficient ecosystem. This approach allows banks to migrate the majority of routine transactions to self-service channels, while positioning branches as advisory-led service hubs focused on deeper customer relationships and improved profitability.
The solution strengthens the entire cash cycle through interchangeable cassette technology, advanced cash recycling capabilities and interoperability across devices. By unifying management of ATMs and branches, financial institutions gain new levels of efficiency, resilience and scalability, supported by modernised transaction processing that connects physical and digital channels.
Joe Myers, Executive Vice President, Global Banking at Diebold Nixdorf, said, “As the partner of choice for hardware, software and services, we are committed to delivering solutions that are easy to service throughout the product lifecycle. Diebold Nixdorf is uniquely positioned with the expertise and capabilities to help financial institutions drive greater efficiency and deliver more customer value by leveraging an integrated self-service and cash ecosystem within the branch. Through Branch Automation Solutions, we’re helping future-proof their business with an adaptable, efficient model that works at scale. This new approach, an industry first, seamlessly integrates physical and digital customer journeys to deliver the ultimate banking experience.”
With this launch, Diebold Nixdorf underlines its commitment to accelerating digital transformation in banking, delivering the tools institutions need to meet rising consumer expectations while building the resilient, customer-centric branch networks of the future.
