ACKO, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) insurer, has partnered with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who joins the company as both a strategic investor and brand ambassador.

The collaboration reflects a powerful alignment of values, trust, simplicity, and innovation between one of India’s most respected public figures and a company redefining how millions engage with insurance.

Dhoni’s investment, made through his family office Midas Deals Pvt. Ltd., marks a strong endorsement of ACKO’s mission to build India’s most loved insurance brand one that is digital-first, frictionless, and human-centred. The partnership also strengthens ACKO’s market position as it continues to scale across motor, health, and travel insurance, serving more than 70 million customers nationwide.

Built on a foundation of technology, data, and design-led simplicity, ACKO has been at the forefront of modernising insurance in India. The company currently processes over two million claims annually, aiming to eliminate traditional inefficiencies and create a more intuitive, responsive experience for every user.

The partnership follows a series of strategic milestones for ACKO, including its recent designation as the preferred insurer for Tesla in India. With Dhoni’s involvement, the company is poised to further accelerate its mission to deliver a smarter, more inclusive insurance experience for digital-native consumers across the country.
