Amazon Web Services has launched its first AWS Innovation Hub in Asia Pacific, located in downtown Singapore, to facilitate digital transformation for public and private sector organisations.

The 8,000-square-foot facility showcases cutting-edge cloud, AI, and partner-led solutions tailored for scalable innovation.

Designed as a centre for experience-led innovation, the AWS Innovation Hub brings together technologies from across AWS, Amazon, and more than 30 partners, demonstrating over 50 real-world customer use cases. Leaders visiting the Hub are guided through immersive and highly personalised engagements that culminate in a bespoke transformation roadmap, built with Vision Builder, AWS’s proprietary road-mapping tool, powered by Amazon Nova, a next-generation generative AI foundation model.

The Innovation Hub reinforces AWS’s commitment to the region and expands on its pledge to invest $9 billion in Singapore cloud infrastructure by 2028. It is expected to host over 1,000 C-level executives annually, alongside 200 students from local tertiary institutions, helping shape both enterprise and talent readiness for an AI-enabled future.

Jaime Vallés, Vice President, AWS Asia Pacific & Japan, said, “AWS is committed to unlocking the full potential of Asia Pacific’s digital economy. The AWS Innovation Hub gives our customers a unique opportunity to move from ideation to action, translating bold visions into measurable outcomes through the power of cloud, AI, and human-centred design. From precision agriculture and advanced manufacturing to digital public services, this Hub will be a launchpad for solving the region’s most urgent and complex challenges.”

The experience within the Innovation Hub is structured into three zones: Aspiration, Acceleration, and Action, allowing executive guests to explore emerging technologies, learn from Amazon’s innovation practices, and ultimately co-create strategic initiatives tailored to their organisational needs. The journey concludes in the Working Backwards Studio, where AWS teams and customers collaborate on transformation blueprints using Vision Builder, delivering actionable insights powered by Amazon Bedrock’s GenAI capabilities.

Among the innovations showcased are a fully autonomous urban farming solution by Netatech, an AI-powered E-bike Smart Factory, ST Engineering’s misinformation detection suite AGIL Trust, Goldman Sachs’ blockchain platform GS DAP®, a model of Amazon’s Kuiper satellite broadband initiative, and Amazon Rufus, a generative AI shopping assistant now available in India and Japan. Also featured is the Hercules robot from Amazon Robotics, illustrating how automation enhances employee productivity and operational speed in fulfillment centers.

The Hub is a reflection of AWS’s global innovation DNA, a bold step toward building a digitally empowered Asia Pacific, where vision and technology converge to drive lasting value.
