Light Frame SA and Mambu partnered to transform the wealth management industry through cloud-native core banking. Responding to rising client expectations and digitalisation demands, the collaboration introduces a next-generation solution purpose-built for private banking.

By combining Mambu’s cloud-native core banking platform, trusted by over 260 institutions across 65 countries, with Light Frame’s cutting-edge investment infrastructure, the partnership enables private banks and wealth managers to reimagine operations, elevate customer experiences, and scale with agility.

This offering is especially timely as the global core banking market continues its rapid expansion, projected to exceed $65 billion by 2032, growing at 18.6% CAGR, according to Fortune Business Insights. Within this landscape, the wealth sector remains under-digitised and overburdened by outdated systems that constrain innovation and inflate operational costs.

Born out of firsthand experience building a digital-first Swiss private bank, Light Frame’s vision is rooted in solving real-world challenges faced by next-generation wealth institutions.

The joint platform seamlessly connects traditional core banking with modern investment infrastructure, enabling private banks to rapidly launch tailored services. Its modular, API-first design reduces IT complexity, ensures regulatory compliance through cloud-native security, and delivers scalable, intuitive experiences that boost efficiency and innovation.

Leon Stevens, Head of EMEA at Mambu, said, “Over the past decade, Mambu has been at the forefront of core banking innovation, though our efforts have largely focused outside the Wealth industry. We are now pleased to extend that innovation to private banks, wealth managers, brokerage banks, and WealthTechs as they modernise or start their operations.”

Cenk Bozal, Region Manager DACH at Mambu, said, “Mambu’s entry into private banking alongside Light Frame marks a material step toward modernising a sector that has historically seen limited innovation. “With over 260 live customers across 65 countries, Mambu is uniquely positioned to partner with the industry to realise the transformational value of a modern, proven core.”
