The collaboration aims to improve access to cross-border trade finance for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), helping them manage the complexities of global trade and mitigate risks associated with international transactions.

The Indian MSME export sector continues to show strong momentum, with exports reaching ₹12.39 lakh crore in FY 2024-25 and the number of MSME exporters rising to over 173,000 since 2020-21.
