Xoom and Tenpay Global partner to offer remittances to Weixin Pay users

Weixin Pay or WeChat Pay users can now receive cross-border transfers directly into their Weixin Pay Wallet Balance or linked bank accounts through Xoom, a PayPal service. This new feature, enabled by a partnership between Tenpay Global, Tencent’s cross-border payment platform, and Xoom, allows for seamless, fast, and affordable remittances.

Available to Xoom and PayPal users in the United States, Canada, and Europe, the service enables reliable transfers to Weixin Pay accounts, with more countries expected to join soon. Transfers are typically completed within minutes, offering Weixin Pay users the flexibility to use the funds for in-app transfers, top-ups, or shopping.
