Process automation and cloud computing company Esker has entered a strategic partnership with Oracle systems integrator oAppsNet Partners in order to distribute procure-to-pay (P2P) automation.

oAppsNet, which specialises in integrating business solutions based on Oracle applications, will utilise Esker’s end-to-end experience and seamless integration through the ERP system – enabling companies to easily switch to paperless invoice and order processing.

For Esker, the partnership with oAppsNet means further distribution of the Esker Order-to-Cash (O2C) and P2P offerings into the Oracle ecosystem, Ari Widlansky, Director, Strategic Alliances at Esker, said in an interview.

“This partnership enhances Esker’s integration and technology capabilities allowing for companies running Oracle to leverage AI-driven technology and all associated benefits,” Widlansky said.

“Esker’s AI platform and technology is used for invoice data capture by intelligently capturing information from the invoice, bringing in Oracle data in real-time facilitating the 2 or 3-way matching process into the ERP while drastically reducing payment cycles.”

With paper and manual handling removed from the equation, companies using the Esker solution can improve their workflow efficiency and staff productivity while providing full visibility and accountability from beginning to end.

Widlansky noted that there has been increasing interest in digital transformation since the Covid-19 outbreak started, with companies realising that manual, paper processes are not sustainable and scalable when the need for remote work arises.

“Having a cloud platform and mobile app that you can access anywhere to manage and approve invoices has been instrumental for companies to manage their invoice processes during Covid. This, along with Esker’s ability to provide immediate bottom-line value to the organization by standing up automation solutions in the O2C and P2P cycles in a short period of time, has fueled interest going this economic climate.

Rick Pollina, managing partner at oAppsNet added: “After our discovery of Esker, we learned that they offered solutions no other vendor on the market had and it was clear they were the best of breed in procurement and accounts payable automation.”

“It’s been a journey for us to actually find Esker, and we’re anxious to share with our customers because we know they’re going to love it. We can’t speak highly enough about it.”
