Danish FinTech Cardlay has entered a partnership with Visa to deliver fast and efficient spend management for commercial card issuers and their clients.
This relationship leverages Cardlay’s innovative white-label spend management platform with Visa’s extensive payment network and data capabilities to offer fully embedded commercial cards and expense management solutions to their clients.
The commercial card landscape is rapidly evolving, driven by growing demand for digital solutions, contactless payments, digital wallet integration, and embedded finance. Virtual credit card payments are at the forefront of this transformation, redefining how businesses interact with payment cards and manage spending.
Cardlay and Visa are setting the stage for future growth and innovation in the commercial card issuing space. Cardlay’s platform will enable Visa’s clients, particularly issuers across multiple segments, to leverage their BINs’ structure with Cardlay’s white-label solutions to improve customers’ experience.
Cardlay’s modular cloud-native platform unlocks the opportunity for commercial card issuers to achieve a fast way to the market, a quick ROI and the ability to make use of innovative data capabilities, including real-time virtual credit cards and Visa’s fleet 2.0 data that offers enhanced efficiency through rich data and insights, cost reduction, and a crucial pivot toward sustainable transportation and mobility budgets to cater for the specific market needs.
“We are thrilled to partner with Visa, a highly respected leader in the digital payments industry,” said Cardlay CEO Jørgen Christian Juul. “To be able to fuel our product and commercial growth further together with Visa is great. The collaboration will help bring our vision to life: delivering fast and effortless spend management to commercial card issuers.”
