Amadis, Softpay.ioAmadis, a provider of payment software and consultancy, announced a collaboration agreement with Softpay.io which includes the supply of its universal EMV level 2 framework and pre-certified kernels for integration into Softpay’s new Tap-to-Pay service. Softpay’s revolutionary Tap-to-Pay solution can be downloaded to any Android device, which transforms it into a complete payment card acceptance terminal. This Softpay proposition offers merchants greater flexibility and future-proof capabilities while reducing costs and creating new revenue opportunities.

The Amadis solution is a component of its Amadis One software framework consisting of an EMV L2 framework and an ecosystem that supports all types of contactless EMV kernels. From its new mobile payment’s platform, it allows Softpay’s service to seamlessly accept EMV payments on Android COTS devices equipped with NFC functionality, reduces Softpay’s launch time for new products and allows you to accept payments of any scheme. The Amadis One software framework is the first solution for supporting nexo standards (ISO 202022) on Tap-to-Pay platforms.

“This Softpay product helps us transform the shopping experience by enabling our associated merchants to accept payments anywhere, both inside and outside the store,” said Thomas Grane, CIO of Matas. “It’s a solution that generates new sales opportunities and makes a more efficient and personalized customer experience possible.”

Softpay’s Tap-to-Pay brings positive effects in several sectors, including retail and QSR, which can operate more efficiently. Staff are able to accept payments and carry out multiple activities anywhere in the store or at outdoor collection points. Transportation companies can increase outlets with instant preparation and marketing of new and updated tickets while passengers are aboard trains and buses.

“Softpay’s Tap-to-Pay service offers innovative experiences to the world of distribution, transportation and QSR, and our Amadis One software framework helps these segments to market their products faster,” commented Emmanuel Haydont. CEO and co-founder of Amadis. “Amadis One prepares complex payment processes for use, freeing up resources for merchants to innovate, accelerating time to market and containing costs, while improving the customer experience.”

“By integrating Amadis One with our Tap-to-Pay solution, merchants can simultaneously revolutionize the customer experience, reduce their costs and offer greater flexibility,” said Craig Jacoby, CEO of Softpay.io . “Bringing Tap-to-Pay transactions to smartphones reduces the current commissions paid by merchants for card payments, forms new customer interaction points (POIs), and creates innovative ways to interact with customers during the ‘transaction processing “.
