UK-based LOQBOX has announced the appointment of Marcus Ferguson Jones as their new Chief Commercial Officer. The announcement comes as the FinTech prepares for new developments in the coming months.

Gregor Mowat, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of LOQBOX commented, “We have brought Marcus on board at a crucial time in our journey. Over the next few months, we will be announcing some significant steps towards our global mission to end financial exclusion. Marcus will play a pivotal role in our global expansion and his knowledge and expertise is a great asset to the LOQBOX Commercial team”.

Ferguson Jones was the Commercial Director for Totally Money and has held previous senior positions with Lloyds TSB, AIG and Phones4U. His experience includes building products for multiple businesses and driving change in high growth, early stage multi-channel e-commerce businesses. He has been working alongside LOQBOX since they launched in 2017 as an advisor and consultant.

Marcus Ferguson Jones said, “I have been working with LOQBOX on an advisory basis for a number of years and have experienced first-hand how this mission-driven, fintech works with a strong strategic focus on helping people to become financially included. I am thrilled to be a part of the next phase of the LOQBOX story and with the strong Commercial team already in place, we are excited for the challenges ahead.”

LOQBOX aims to enable people to build their credit score with the three main credit reference agencies and master their money while they save. They serve people early in their financial life or for anyone trying to improve their relationship with money.
