Murtaza Shaikhally

Murtaza is a Partner, IBS Intelligence’s EMEA Markets, based in UAE. He has over 25 years of experience in assisting global banking & FinTech clients in a variety of strategic areas.

Murtaza works closely with global FinTechs and BankTechs on helping them drive accelerated market participation via market opportunity assessments, refining product-market fit, and shaping go-to-market strategies. He is also actively engaged with the Cedar-IBSi FinTech Lab, supporting fintech innovation and ecosystem collaboration.

He is a subject matter expert on Islamic banking, Wealth management & Digital Banking. His Financial Services expertise spans across various strategic areas including Balanced Scorecard, strategy formulation, market strategy, integration, and process transformation, among others. Prior to this, he held roles at ANZ Grindlays and Dubai Islamic Bank. He holds an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, India.
