Damane Cash and ZTE Corporation have announced a strategic partnership during GITEX Africa 2026, aimed at transforming Morocco’s digital financial services landscape.

The collaboration brings together ZTE’s expertise in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and telecommunications with Damane Cash’s extensive nationwide financial service network. The two companies plan to jointly enhance the country’s fintech infrastructure, with a particular focus on upgrading the M-Wallet system, strengthening security frameworks, and improving the speed and reliability of digital transactions.

A key pillar of the partnership is advancing financial inclusion across Morocco. By leveraging digital technologies, the initiative seeks to make financial services more accessible, secure, and user-friendly, especially for underserved and remote communities that have limited access to traditional banking channels.

The companies noted that the partnership will also foster knowledge transfer and drive digital innovation within the local ecosystem. By combining global technological capabilities with local market expertise, the collaboration is expected to support the development of a more efficient, resilient, and future-ready financial services environment in Morocco.

The move reflects a broader trend of telecom and fintech convergence across emerging markets, where digital wallets and mobile-based financial solutions are playing a critical role in expanding access to banking and accelerating economic participation.
