AI-driven investment intelligence provider BridgeWise has acquired Chicago-based Context Analytics, an alternative data processing firm used by tier-one financial institutions, including S&P Global Market Intelligence. The move is aimed at building an end-to-end, vertically integrated intelligence platform for wealth and investment services.
The acquisition combines BridgeWise’s institutional-grade investment analysis capabilities with Context Analytics’ technology for transforming unstructured financial information into structured, machine-readable data. Context Analytics processes sources such as news, social media, earnings calls, and regulatory filings to generate real-time sentiment and market signals.
By integrating these capabilities, BridgeWise intends to deliver a unified infrastructure covering data ingestion, processing, analytics, and client-facing insights. The company said the combined platform is designed specifically for regulated financial institutions, including banks, brokers, asset managers, and trading platforms, with a focus on transparency and compliance.
Gaby Diamant, co-founder and CEO of BridgeWise, said the acquisition enables the firm to “unify the entire intelligence lifecycle, from decoding raw unstructured data to delivering actionable, compliant insights in an engaging and accessible manner,” adding that the combination sets a new benchmark for explainable, data-backed intelligence in financial services.
Joe Gits, CEO of Context Analytics, said the partnership would help scale the firm’s technology. “Together, we are closing the gap between raw information and intelligent action, delivering a truly integrated intelligence engine for the financial industry,” he said.
The deal comes as financial institutions reassess the use of general-purpose AI models in investment decision-making, amid concerns around governance, auditability, and regulatory risk. Demand is growing for domain-specific platforms that offer explainability and oversight, particularly in high-stakes wealth and capital markets environments.
BridgeWise said the acquisition will also accelerate development of its AI wealth agent, pAI, which is designed to build, review, and optimise personalised portfolios through conversational interfaces. By incorporating Context Analytics’ high-fidelity alternative data, the firm aims to enable more adaptive, personalised portfolio strategies at scale.
The transaction reflects a broader industry shift toward vertically integrated, domain-focused AI infrastructure as wealth managers seek to operationalise artificial intelligence within regulatory boundaries while enhancing personalisation and decision support.
