Arvind Vairavan heads the corporate lending solutions team for APAC. With over 18 years’ experience in the Banking & Financial Services industry, is a subject matter expert on Corporate Banking, Originations, Commercial, Syndications, MDB – Project Finance, Digital Transformation and Risk aspects in the banking space.
Having experience working in USA, Middle East and Africa as well. Prior to Finastra, he was also working with two leading investment banks. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Rutgers University USA and double majors in Finance and MIS from SUNY USA. He is also a member of the APLMA. He had made constructive contributions for developing the solutions for the evolving markets and business.
Jayanta Kumar Roy, COO & Country Head, Validus
Jayanta has more than 35 years of experience in banking across various functions – business development, credit & risk, collections and process re-designing. He has held a number of senior management positions, including Country Head for business or credit-risk, in the last 15 years.
Jayanta’s areas of expertise include setting up end-to-end SME Banking operating models, including risk infrastructure, front line and operational process. At Validus, he is part of the management team, and is currently overseeing the Singapore business & operations.
Nikhil Gokhale, Head of Research, Global Markets, IBS Intelligence (Moderator)
Nikhil leads IBSi’s team of research analysts, focused on providing real-time, data-driven insights on Financial Technology to clients. He spends his time helping senior executives at banks, consulting firms and system integrators with their research needs around the core and emerging technology solutions.
Nikhil comes with two decades of experience in business research for Financial Services, advising large financial institutions on strategy, technology, and performance issues. In his previous role at Deloitte, Nikhil led the research team responsible for developing thought leadership for the C-suite audience at banks, insurance carriers and asset managers. He is a thought influencer, having authored several reports covering emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and RegTech, and has been a presenter at multiple industry forums.
