Lead Analyst

IBS Intelligence is looking to recruit a Lead Analyst for its Research team to be based out of our Mumbai office in Lower Parel.  

Primary responsibilities of this role will include creating and maintaining research programs, regular report outputs and leading consulting engagements for our clients across the globe. Expectations include the ability to confidently engage with senior industry figures, deliver impactful presentations, grow a network of contacts, attend Industry conference/ events and best representing the firm. Support in opening new potential business opportunities for IBS Intelligence. Candidate should have the ability to analyze and synthesize data and derive meaningful information

Candidate must have a working knowledge of the financial services industry. Prior experience related to fintech will an added advantage. Ideal candidate must have a keen interest in financial technology and ability to understand technical jargon and concepts, financial technology market- key trends, developments and products. He must be comfortable working independently and with a diverse team. He will need to have at least 5 to 7 years’ experience working at either a consultancy or financial institutions technology department. An analytical mind with sound business sense and the ability to communicate well both written and verbally will be paramount.

Besides the above, It would be imperative that the candidate will be specialist in understanding the latest technology and operational trends in Banks, Banking Technology and in the FinTech communities across the World. He must possess hands-on knowledge of how business needs are driving change in the way technology is sourced and deployed. Familiarity with one or more of Core Banking Technologies, Big Data and Analytics applications, Payment Technologies and Digital Transformation will be critical as an assessment capability. Ideal candidate with a MBA would be preferred.

Senior Account Executive

US | Competitive Package with commission| IBS Intelligence

IBS Intelligence is seeking to recruit a dynamic and energetic Senior Account Executive to expand the research client and account base in the US. The Account Executive will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining existing relationships to generate incremental revenue by selling additional products, and working to build new relationships particularly with leading banks, consulting firms, and FinTech suppliers. This role is based out of our New York City office in Manhattan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand IBSI portfolio of offerings in depth and have a perspective on the global fintech market
  • Understand the changing business and needs that our current and potential clients face
  • Gather and relay market feedback in order to provide new content development opportunities to the editorial team
  • Develop a good understanding of IBSI’s existing relationships and accounts (director, VP, C-level)
  • Develop a dedicated list of targets/accounts to be pursued based on existing relationships, and new accounts that this individual will pursue
  • Maintain an appropriate sales pipeline to achieve quota and account goals. Produce accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Develop account strategies that position IBS Intelligence as a strategic resource
  • Proactive effort to travel (US) and meet with key clients to understand their challenges and position IBSI as being a strategic resource
  • Nurture and maintain existing relationships in the form of sharing regular thought-pieces, relevant insights, and other communication that is not necessarily commercial

Key Requirements (Skills & Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. MBA is a bonus.
  • A minimum of 7-8 years of work experience
  • A proven track record of sales success, client management, or consultative selling in areas of Financial technology and/or financial services
  • Proven experience in new-business development, managing client relationships, achieving quota goals, and managing personal sales strategies.
  • The ability and willingness to make cold calls
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Other language skills would be a plus
  • A team player, a fast learner, and someone who is at ease with technology.
  • A self-starter with strong initiative who can work independently. This is important.
  • The ability to work and reside in the US without restriction
  • Communicate professionally to both internal and external audiences.
