Navy Federal goes live with nCino’s solution for enhanced customer experience

Josh Glover, Chief Revenue Officer, nCino

US-based credit union, Navy Federal Credit Union, has gone live with the financial services provider nCino‘s Bank Operating System. The credit union deployed the solution with the help of nCino and West Monroe Partners. The solution aims to reduce Navy Federal’s onboarding time by approximately 75% and onboard around 2,500 members a month.

“In an industry increasingly focused on speed and experience, Navy Federal recognizes the central role technology plays in driving efficiency and deepening member engagement,” said Josh Glover, Chief Revenue Officer at nCino. “Our innovative Bank Operating System is helping Navy Federal stay competitive in today’s digitally-driven environment and achieve their goal of organic growth through an enhanced member experience.”

According to the supplier, the Bank Operating System aims to improve and automate workflows in the credit union’s business services such as member onboarding, online credit applications, pricing, risk rating and many more. Navy Federal will also be able to utilize nCino’s Document Manager, thus eliminating the need for paper loan files and allowing them to track the business loan status in real time.

“With the additional insights and capabilities gained from nCino’s platform, our employees and members are better positioned for success from the very beginning of their relationship,” said David Ledwell, senior vice president of consumer & business lending at Navy Federal. “We want to provide our business members with an experience that is fast, intuitive and consistent across all channels, which the nCino platform enables us to do.”

nCino, recently, announced its collaboration with UK startup Project BankNorth in a bid to develop an easier and effective process for SME lending and its Bank Operating System was selected by St. Louis Bank in a bid to replace manual processes and improve customer experience.

nCino is a cloud banking service provider, serving around 250 financial institutions globally. It’s Bank Operating System aims to improve employee efficiency while simultaneously enhancing the customer experience for onboarding, loans and deposits across all lines of business.

Established in 1933, Navy Federal is a member-owned and not for profit organisation, with members from the Department of Defense and Coast Guard Active Duty, veterans, civilian and contractor personnel, and their families.
