Mambu powers Swiss marketplace lender Lendico

Myriam Reinle, chief executive officer, Lendico Switzerland

Swiss marketplace lender, Lendico Switzerland has tapped Mambu for its SaaS banking software, to bring about its digital alternative SME lending solution to the Swiss market.

SME financing subsidiary of PostFInance, Lendico has provided new investment opportunities to private and institutional investors since its launch in 2016.

“In Switzerland, the demand from SMEs for loan products, end-to-end digital customer experiences as well as rapid decisioning and disbursement is going unmet,” said Myriam Reinle, chief executive officer of Lendico Switzerland. “We wanted to both address the market demands and grow our business geographically through a fully-automated, lean and flexible business model.”

Lendico was looking for a banking software that was compatible with its existing operations and could also integrate with its current systems without the need of building a new technology stack.

Myriam Reinle further commented, “The API-driven solution puts us in full control of our technology, enabling us to change, develop and introduce new products quickly, with the luxury of knowing we can scale operations without significant investment in time or resources. This frees us up to focus our attention on designing, building and evolving elements of our technical stack that truly differentiate us from our competitors,”

Eugene Danilkis, chief executive officer, Mambu, commented on the partnership, “Lendico’s dynamic business model, credit scoring and engagement channels have helped them carve out a niche in a crowded market. We are working closely with them to maximise the reach of their proposition and fulfil their expansion aspirations over the next five years.”
