JMR Infotech has completed a data migration project with Nepal’s Janata Bank, aimed at lowering the latter’s cost of operations and improving customer experience.

Based in Naya Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Janata Bank offers loans, card services, investment and merchant banking. It had recently merged with Triveni Bikas Bank and acquired Siddhartha Development Bank when it contacted JMR to aid in the migration of data across to its native Oracle Flexcube core banking system.

“We are proud to engage with JMR Infotech and happy to announce that they have successfully completed the migration,” said Janata Bank head of IT, Mintu Kumar Jha. “This migration has helped Janata Bank in centrally managing all the core bank accounts without any issues.”

India-based JMR Infotech is a long-standing partner of Oracle FSS and a Flexcube specialist. The firm cut the ribbon on its new Malaysian offices in March 2017 and celebrated the new location by signing a deal with a “major” APAC bank.

“We thank Janata Bank for trusting JMR Infotech with this critical assignment and are extremely pleased with the positive project feedback from the Bank,” said Jayafar Moidu, CEO of JMR Infotech.

“The success of this project is a testimony to our deep domain expertise and unmatched implementation capabilities, which helps our clientele drive innovation and deliver superior customer service while operating at peak efficiency.”
