Wirecard launches new mobile app for its North American clients

Wirecard has announced the launch of a new mobile app focused at its North American clientele. The new app is aimed at enabling the customers to track related balances and payment activities on their mobiles.

Seth Brennan, Managing Director of Wirecard North America, said, “The new app provides a simple and intuitive, fully digital financial experience that integrates with our existing payout solutions. We are excited to offer cardholders the latest digital tools to help them manage their Wirecard accounts more seamlessly. Wirecard’s goal has always been to increase accessibility through investments in digital innovation. The mobile app is the latest piece of an ongoing effort to make cashless payments available to everyone.”

According to the supplier, the mobile application’s development is a part of Wirecard’s goal to speed up digital transformation as well as to build an integrative financial experience. The app will allow cardholders to view their account history, balances and payment, and transaction details and also include flexibility to co-brand with its clients. It comprises of an ATM locator that allows users to locate the nearest spots for withdrawing cash from their prepaid debit accounts.

Recently, Wirecard partnered with the Italian payments solutions provider SisalPay ( a part of the Sisal Group) in a bid to simplify payments and enhance payment safety.
