Volante Technologies appoints new COO; Global Head of SaaS

With an intent to drive company’s growth, Volante Technologies Inc., a New Jersey-based provider of technology and software as a service (SaaS), has beefed up its senior management in the form of two senior hires, it announced on Wednesday.

Harp Grewal, Executive in Residence and Non-Executive Board Director, has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Deepak Gupta, Chief Architect of Oracle’s hosted business and founder of Peoplesoft’s hosted business, has taken on the role of Global Head of Software as a Service (SaaS).

Harp and Deepak are experienced in the areas of SaaS, Payments, Open Banking and ISO 20022, according to the supplier.

As we grow rapidly and increase our market share, it is vital that we invest in our organization to ensure we continue to deliver excellence and reliability for our clients today and into the future,” Vijay Oddiraju, CEO, Volante Technologies said.
