VERMEG to enhance post-trade processing for Santander Brazil

Banking and insurance software specialist, VERMEG has announced that its Securities and Custody solution, Megara, has gone live with Santander Securities Services Brazil (S3 Brazil).  Megara is a modular suite that enables clients to cover various segments such as wholesale, retail, foreign and domestic operation through a single installation.

Wagner Antunes, General Manager Brazil, VERMEG, said, ” I am delighted that we have been chosen by Santander to provide post-trade processing solutions in Brazil, and to build on our existing relationship with this leading global bank. This is a landmark client for our new Brazil office and is an important step in realizing our ambition to grown the VERMEG presence across Latin America.”

According to the supplier, it is has been offering its Securities Services specialization to Santander and aims to deliver a better post-trade processing system. The extension of the partnership will make S3 Brazil a founder client for VERMEG’s San Paulo-based office. The newly established offices are expected to assist the supplier in providing its product portfolio and ensure client satisfaction.

Badreddine Ouali, Chairman VERMEG said, “We are thrilled that our capabilities in financial market and securities management have been recognized by the Santander Group, which has chosen to use VERMEG as its strategic partner for post-trade processing in the region.”
