US-based Clearwater Analytics to open office in India

Clearwater AnalyticsSoftware-as-a-service fintech company Clearwater Analytics is all set to expand into India, by opening a development centre in the city of Noida in the National Capital Region.

The new site, Clearwater’s second development centre, will provide “follow-the-sun” servicing capabilities for the company’s operations teams, it said in a statement.

The India office is a strategic addition to current offices in New York, London, Edinburgh, and the global headquarters in Boise, Idaho, U.S.

Clearwater Analytics will hire software developers, data operations specialists, reconciliation analysts, investment accounting and reporting experts, and personnel for other operations roles. It aims to hire 100 employees over the next six months.

“Opening in Noida brings Clearwater in proximity to a large pool of talent, which will help the company scale and meet its ambitious hiring and expansion goals,” the company said.

Industry veteran Anurag Singh will head the team in India. Singh has experience in setting up development centres for investment banking and other financial services customers while at Headstrong. He was also managing director and SVP for Banking, Insurance, and Hitech IT at Genpact.
