UK-based payments provider myPOS appoints new Chief of Strategy

Jean Beaubois, CSO, myPOS

myPOS, a European payment service provider, has announced the appointment of Jean Beaubois as its Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

The new hire previously supervised Investor Relations and M&A at SafeCharge and worked with investment banks including Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Jean is expected to bring his experience in payment technology, financial analysis and strategy to the supplier.

“Jean’s appointment will contribute to myPOS’ financial strength and strategy. myPOS is growing exponentially, every month a record-high number of small companies are turning to myPOS to run their business with our all-in-one payment solution and Jean will help support our expansion strategy by looking for investments and partnerships,” said Christo Georgiev, the FinTech’s founder, and CEO.

Established in 2014 in England, the FinTech provides integrated payment solutions and aims to change the way businesses accept card payments across all channels – at the counter, online and mobile. It delivers a free merchant account with immediate funds settlement at no extra cost. It has developed its own sales channel of flagship stores opened sequentially in London, Amsterdam, Sofia, Milan, Barcelona, Antwerp and Paris, and is looking to open in Bucharest and Vienna next.

The FinTech recently launched myPOS GO at €29 as well as its countertop device HUB+, which combines a payment terminal, ECR and business management apps all in one.
