Adam Bowman, Director of Partnerships at Trustly

UK-based online payment service provider ECOMMPAY has announced a partnership with Swedish payments company Trustly in a bid to enhance its market position and online payment service.

Adam Bowman, Director of Partnerships at Trustly, commented, “ECOMMPAY is a key partner for us as we expand our presence in the financial services and e-commerce verticals. Through our partnership, Trustly’s fast, simple and secure online banking payments will be available to ECOMMPAY’s thousands of merchants, helping them increase conversion at their checkout.”

According to the supplier, the new partnership will facilitate direct secure online transactions for ECOMMPAY’s consumers, assist the merchants to receive quick payments from the customers and get a real-time confirmation for the same transaction. The collaboration will enable the merchants to leverage Trustly’s refund process, thereby aiming to cut down on the complexity of the administrative processes.

Arthur Gots, Head of Operations at ECOMMPAY, said, “Especially in key markets like the Baltics and the Nordics, online banking payments should be a vital part of any merchant’s payment mix. Through our partnership with Trustly, we’re excited to be able to offer our merchants new markets and a broader reach, helping them to scale their businesses in an efficient way.”

Established in 2012 in London, ECOMMPAY is an international payment service provider and direct card acquirer. It offers a PCI DSS certified payment gateway that comprises acquiring capabilities, alternative payment methods, proprietary risk management technologies, etc.

Recently, Trustly announced that they will merge with Silicon Valley-based online banking verification and payments provider PayWithMyBank.
