Gary Conroy, CPO,  TransferMate

Cross-border B2B payments provider, TransferMate, has launched the TransferMate API at Money 2020 Europe. The newly launched API is expected to provide customers with access to regulated payments technology through direct integration.

Gary Conroy, Chief Product Officer at TransferMate said: “By implementing the TransferMate API, our partners provide a seamless payment experience to their customers, get an incremental revenue stream themselves, and TransferMate does the heavy lifting as the regulated entity. TransferMate transforms traditional cross-border payments by utilising their own global network of local bank accounts and worldwide license footprint. TransferMate has to date provided the service via online and white-label solutions, and now we are delighted to announce that platforms can access TransferMate’s award-winning payments solution via the TransferMate API.”

According to the supplier, TransferMate API is capable of securely embedding same-day, cross-border payments, handling multiple payments at once and thus ultimately assisting in reducing the manual workload. It offers a full suite of developer tools and webhook functionality and will enable businesses to integrate payments technology with their current systems. Its key API offerings include- token-based authentication request, setting up bank accounts, adding of beneficiaries, status updates on payment requests etc.

Established in 2008, TransferMate is a payment solutions provider and helps in securing competitive exchange rates, limiting bank fees and providing fast payments services.

Recently, TransferMate announced its first regulatory approval in Asia post acquiring a new payments license in Singapore.
