Tassat appoints FinTech entrepreneur Krishna Prasad as CEO

New York-based FinTech company Tassat has announced the appointment of institutional veteran, entrepreneur, and investor Krishna Prasad as its new Chief Executive Officer. Krishna Prasad will be responsible for driving Tassat’s progress in its digital payments and digital exchange businesses leveraging his expertise in operational leadership, commercialization, product management, and investments.

Prasad brings in a vast knowledge in the areas of intersection of finance and technology. He joins Tassat after spending lengthy time handling operational excellence and leadership at major financial institutions and FinTech start-ups. Most recently, he was the founder of Kavery Advisors, an investment consulting firm focused on private equity and venture investments for Financial Services & FinTech in India. His past roles include Head of Alternative Investments at BBVA, Head of Alternative Investment Products at TIAA, Co-Head of Institutional Services at Morgan Stanley, and Head of Operations for Deutsche Asset Management. He was also the partner and COO at S3 Partners, a start-up providing financing & data analytics to investment firms.
