SimCorp and Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management launch solution

Edmond de Rothschild

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has partnered with SimCorp

Investment management solutions provider SimCorp has signed a strategic partnership with Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EdRAM) to provide its solution SimCorp Dimension as a foundation for third-party asset manager solution EOS Portfolio Management.

As part of the partnership, SimCorp will provide access to its latest solutions and expertise, while supporting efforts to reach a wider audience of third-party asset managers.

EOS Portfolio Management was launched in October 2018 as a front-to-back solution with data management services, maximising asset managers’ efficiency and reducing operational and financial risks, allowing the managers to turn their focus to the core of their business.

Furthermore, third-party asset managers using EOS Portfolio Management will benefit from EdRAM’s front, middle and back-office infrastructure and expertise, which has been built with the Dimension solution over the past decade, the companies said in a statement.

“SimCorp’s strategic framework agreement enables EdRAM, and asset servicers and custodians alike, to address operational complexity and deliver superior service to their clients. Powering the operations of these entities enables SimCorp to reach a wider footprint within the buy-side and also serves its needs by building a value-added investment ecosystem,” Emmanuel Colson, Managing Director, SimCorp Southern Europe, said.

“Combined with EdRAM’s strong business services expertise, the partnership offers a robust tool to accelerate business growth in a competitive market.”

With the partnership, SimCorp is extending its reach across small and medium-sized asset managers, who will benefit from an integrated front-to-back BPO service offering.

Serge Weyland, CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (Luxembourg), commented: “This strategic partnership with a global leader in integrated investment management solutions is an exceptional opportunity. It will allow us to increase the distribution of our EOS Portfolio Management solution with active support from SimCorp and access the latest solutions and technical expertise.”

Earlier this month, SimCorp launched a full SFTR cloud solution service with deltaconX.

SimCorp is a provider of investment management solutions for asset managers, fund managers, asset servicers, pension and insurance funds, wealth managers, banks and sovereign wealth funds. Its core solution, SimCorp Dimension provides life-cycle services throughout the investment value chain.
