Refinitiv partners with SigFig for delivery of digital advice technology

Refinitiv has entered into a partnership with enterprise FinTech SigFig for facilitating the delivery of digital advice technology solutions to Refinitiv’s BETA platform. It is also expected to enable the collaborating firms to provide an integrated and end-to-end digital advice experience for enhancing and automating investment management.

Mike Sha, SigFig CEO and Co-founder, said, “By partnering with Refinitiv, SigFig is able to continue to expand access to our industry-leading digital management advice solutions for both consumers and advisors. By bringing new levels of speed, scalability, and efficiency to Refinitiv’s wealth management business solution, we’re creating a fully integrated solution from front end client experience all the way to the back office.”

According to the supplier, Refinitiv BETA will utilize SigFig’s direct-to-consumer platform for the creation of a robo advice solution which comprises account opening, automated investment management, money management and return client experience for institutional clients.

Joe Mrak, Managing Director and global head of Wealth Management at Refinitiv said, “By integrating SigFig’s technology, Refinitiv is able to provide its wealth management clients with an enterprise-grade, complete Digital Advice solution that we are confident will dramatically transform and improve their investing services and capabilities.”

Refinitiv is reportedly in the process of transforming its wealth management industry from front to back office including building out the firm’s digital solutions by adding Digital Advice Technology, MarketPsych Indices, Automated and Customized Advisory and End-Client Interactions and Workflows, Enhanced Cash Management Solutions.

Recently, Refinitiv announced the launch of Qual-ID, a solution comprising digital identity verification and risk screening capabilities, along with Trulioo, in a bid to provide digital onboarding for customers and achieve compliance with KYC and AML regulations.
