OYO expands digital financial service capability with Wirecard

Wirecard has partnered with hospitality business provider OYO with an aim to facilitate payment services and bookings for OYO hotels across Asia, Europe, UK, and the USA.

The partnership will see Wirecard enabling payment acceptance and issuance services for OYO’s online, mobile and Point-of-sale booking services. It is also expected to provide OYO with its Banking-as-a-platform capabilities for enhancing the lending and loyalty aspect of OYO’s payment experience.

Established in 2013, OYO provides living spaces for businesses and travelers and aims to enhance its customer experience through technology-based operations, independent distributors and frictionless payments infrastructure,

Recently, Wirecard announced a new offering, Digital Financial Commerce Platform, which will allow its customers to fast track to PSD2 onboarding.
