omni:us partners with Rokk3r to enter LATAM insurance market

Berlin-based omni:us, the insurance-focussed artificial intelligence (AI) solution business has announced that the company has partnered with Rokk3r, global innovation technology and consulting company, to enable the AI company to enter the Latin American insurance market.

omni: us’ customer service with a data-driven, lightweight AI platform that automates data-intense, back-end workflows empowers claims teams to act with enhanced accuracy and care. Through its AI-powered, data-driven claims management, it streamlines the flow of information between lines of business, third-parties and customers.

omni:us began building its presence in the US and Canada with the appointment of Rupin Mago as VP North America. The company envision to transform the global insurance industry by deploying AI in a hybrid approach to claims, complementing adjusters’ expertise and equipping them with data-driven customer insights while expediting processes and improving efficiency with automation.

Rokk3r provides a portfolio of cutting-edge solutions across the entire value chain of Life, Health, and P&C insurance to create the insurance companies of the future.

“We have been very impressed by Rokk3r’s eco-system, which combines human and machine intelligence systems to enable companies to quickly build size and scale. We value the agility and entrepreneurial flair of Rokk3r, and we are convinced it will help omni:us to build scale as we enter the Latin American insurance market, as well as accelerating our planned growth in North America,” said Rupin, VP North America, omni:us.

The partnership enables Rokk3r and omni:us to help insurers by:

  • Automates document intake to ensure clean data at the start of the claims process
  • Empowering core business with decision making and insights

“We believe omni:us is on a class of its own with regards to their technology as well as with the space in which their products add value to our industry. Claims is the single biggest savings contributor to an insurance company P&L, so the opportunities are worth pursuing,” said Hilario Itriago, Managing Director of Rokk3r Insurtech.

Founded in 2015, omni:us is an Artificial Intelligence as a Service (AIaaS) provider for cognitive claims management. Its data-driven approach is transforming the way insurers interact with their insured parties. Its client portfolio includes Allianz, Baloise and AmTrust.
