National Australia Bank (NAB) has agreed a Payment Facilitator Program Services Agreement with iSignthis. The deal will see NAB acting as an acquirer for transactions processed by iSignthis on behalf of merchant customers. The payments firm will also gain access to the Australian and New Zealand markets. Both parties will take a share of the merchant fees involved.

iSignthis identifies itself as an “end to end solution for merchant customers”  and offers payment gateway, card vaulting, tokenisation, authentication and KYC services. “This agreement allows us to offer paydentity integrated with card acquiring/settlement services for our merchant customers in Australia and New Zealand,” says Managing Director of iSignthis, John Karantzis. “Specifically, our customers and prospective customers in FX, securities, wagering and gaming, will now have the option of a full service provider, from a single integration. This agreement compliments the upcoming card acquiring and settlement services to be launched shortly by ISX Pay for the European Union SEPA zone.”

The service is expected to available to merchants from December 2016 following a period of integration between NAB and iSignthis.
