Meniga and UniCredit to launch Smart Banking app in Czech Republic

London-based digital banking technology provider, Meniga entered into a partnership today with banking and financial services company, UniCredit with an intent to launch an enhanced version of Smart Banking app in the Czech Republic. Meniga has previously collaborated with UniCredit for the launch of the Mbanking app in Serbia in 2019.

According to the FinTech, Smart Banking is a financial adviser and is expected to drive UniCredit’s customer engagement. The app has been developed to provide an overview of users’ income and expenses and access to information about their current accounts, loans and credit cards.

Meniga has worked closely with the UniCredit team to enhance the app’s capabilities and ensure that it is providing the best possible experience for its users. The result is a really intuitive app which we know will be of great support to existing and new banking customers so that they can better manage their finances and day-to-day spending.”

According to Meniga, features of the new application include a detailed overview of users’ accounts, card, loan and mortgage, summaries of incoming and outgoing payments, categorisation of transactions, etc. The Smart Banking application can be downloaded and is available via the AppStore and GooglePlay.

Recently, Worldline entered into a partnership with Meniga intending to increase digital customer engagement through the creation of personalised banking features.
