LifeMiles partners with FinTech & InsurTech company novae

Latin America’s LifeMiles, a provider of airline driven loyalty program and Avianca Airline’s frequent flyer program, has announced that the company has partnered with FinTech and InsurTech company novae for providing users with an unparalleled travel experience.

Under the terms of the agreement, LifeMiles customers will have access to Miles Care, a novae powered travel protection program. The partnership enables travellers’ protection for trip cancellation and interruption, delayed flights, missed international connections and lost or delayed luggage. LifeMiles customers will have the option to purchase advanced care memberships bringing valuable features including but not limited to, emergency medical expenses, emergency political evacuation, accidental death, and other additional benefits such as ATM robbery protection, purchase protection, instant compensation for loss or damage to personal devices. It also reimburses for a financial loss arising from the unauthorized use of banking app following the loss or theft of mobile devices.

Additionally, LifeMiles users can experience 24/7 service support through the mobile conversational platform “alle”, a hum/bot powered by artificial intelligence.  In times of crisis, customers can rely on the readily available funds in local currency in their Miles Care Visa card. Mile Care also features real-time claim submission and handling, thus ensuring users to receive instant compensation and disbursement to their Miles Care Visa digital card.

Founded in 2018, Florida based novae is a B2B smart payments platform that creates high-level user experiences to bring digital engagement and loyalty to new levels. The FinTech has partnership with key players such as Visa, Expedia, ABANCA, Canopius, CyberSource, LivePerson, Aaxis, and Metropolitan Commercial Bank, among others. The company is backed by private debt and equity capital funds CASEIF III LP and ExWorks Capital LLC.

Founded in 2013, LifeMiles offers loyalty programs that allow it’s members to earn miles on daily activities and redeem them with incredible partners. It provides multiple benefits for members flying with Avianca, Star Alliance and other airlines partners, as well as for purchases at commercial partners, for hotel stays, car rentals, travel care benefits and more. Members can also earn miles on their everyday purchases by paying with their Avianca LifeMiles credit cards.
