Ixaris partners with Sabre for offering payments optimisation capabilities

Payments optimisation company, Ixaris has entered into an agreement with Sabre, a technology provider for the travel industry in a bid to expand to markets across Europe. The partnership further Ixaris’ goal of expanding into the Americas and the Asia Pacific markets.

“We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Sabre, and this is a strong endorsement of our innovative payments offering,” said Ixaris CEO Aran Brown. “We’re pleased that Sabre has now partnered with Ixaris, as Sabre Virtual Payments with Ixaris delivers an invaluable solution to more travel buyers and OTAs in the EMEA region than ever before.”

Through the partnership, Iraxis will make its payments offering available via Sabre Virtual Payments, for enabling travel buyers to streamline payments and save costs while paying for accommodation and transportation. It will provide Sabre Virtual Payments’ customers with the ability to complete the booking and payment process on one platform with minimal integration required, and without any change to their current workflows.

“To truly meet the needs of our customers, we must streamline and optimise payments for travel agents, and with Ixaris, we are able to do exactly that,” said Robin Boudsocq, Strategic Product Sales, Sabre Travel Network. “For our customers, we can now further reduce back-office overhead while ensuring a seamless booking and payment process, which is critical to reduce costs and boost profitability in this volatile travel market.”

Sabre will be enabled to optimise payments for its agencies, secure preferable outcomes when executing supplier transactions and avoid merchant fees while booking with low-cost carriers.
